Getting a great education doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. Sometimes it can even cost you nothing. In the Fall of 2023, 66% of WSCO students who completed the financial aid process received Federal Grants to attend the college. In Fall 2023, WSCO students received almost $1.7 million in grants and scholarships!

Nearly 60% of WSCO students paid nothing for tuition in Fall 2023.

Get Started

Step 1. Complete the admissions application for WSCO here.

Step 2. File your 2024/25 FAFSA at studentaid.gov and add our school code (010453).

Step 3. Fill out the “Free College Form” here

Step 4. The WSCO Office of Financial Aid will reach out to you!

WSCO students have access to thousands of dollars in scholarships, Federal financial aid, and state grants. The Office of Financial Aid will look at a student’s FAFSA, admissions application, and past academic performance to determine the maximum amount of grants and scholarships a student can receive. You, the student, only need to complete the 24/25 FAFSA at studentaid.gov and complete the Free College Interest Form here

Many students are getting their entire tuition and fees covered. It all depends on which grants you qualify for.

First, the college determines your Federal Grant eligibility using your FAFSA. You may be eligible for Pell and/or FSEOG. Next, they determine if you are eligible for any state grants/scholarships. These grants can then be combined up to the cost of tuition and fees so college could be free.

Many of the grants are for Ohio residents only, but thanks to Federal Grants and our in-state tuition rate for WV residents and our minimal out of state surcharge of $1, many of WSCO’s non-OH residents take classes for free as well.
