Washington State College of Ohio (WSCO) will host a video game night on campus on Friday, July 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

MARIETTA— In celebration of its newly formed eSports team, Washington State College of Ohio (WSCO) will host a video game night on campus on Friday, July 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WSCO eSports Coach Mark Riley is excited to introduce the community to his plans to take the competitive gaming community by storm. “We have an incredible setup here at Washington State. Our gaming lab is stacked with top-of-the-line performance machines with the added bonus of internet speeds not available to the average household,” said Riley. “Our game night is an open invitation to everyone in the community who has even the smallest interest in gaming, whether it’s playing or watching.”

Riley promises the evening will be full of entertainment including competitive gaming, individual gaming, and live stream of esports competitions, as well as spectator opportunities. There will also be free Donato’s Pizza, drinks, and lots of giveaways.

“We have no requirements about the skill level of anyone who attends. We just want our community to come and check us out,” Riley affirmed. Among the games to be played: Mario Kart, Rocket League, Overwatch, Madden, NBA 2K, and more.

WSCO Game Night is set for Friday, July 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Commons area of the Main Building. The campus is located at 710 Colegate Dr., Marietta, Ohio.
