Changing Campus Culture Initiative - ALIGN
What is ALIGN?
ALIGN is a statewide awareness initiative developed through the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s Changing Campus Culture effort. The campaign brings Ohio colleges and universities together around a shared commitment: preventing sexual violence, promoting mutual respect, and ensuring every student can learn in a safe and supportive environment.

Washington State College of Ohio proudly participates in the ALIGN initiative as part of our broader commitment to student safety and well-being.
At WSCO, ALIGN complements the work already being done through Title IX, student services, campus safety, and educational programming. By participating in this statewide effort, we strengthen our ability to:
- Promote clear reporting options
- Ensure accessible support resources
- Provide educational outreach and training
- Foster a campus environment rooted in dignity and respect
We believe that student success begins with student safety. ALIGN helps us reinforce that message consistently and visibly across our campus community.
