WSCO2MC Transfer Pathway

Start Here. Stay Here.

Washington State College of Ohio is proud to partner with Marietta College for the WSCO2MC transfer program. The program is designed for students who want to start their college experience at Washington State and stay local by transferring to Marietta College to complete a four year degree.

WSCO2MC - An Overview

WSCO2MC is a dual admission program. It provides you with the opportunity to be accepted to both Washington State College of Ohio and Marietta College with one application. As part of the program, you’ll begin your studies at Washington State where you’ll complete an associate degree. While at Washington State in the WSCO2MC program, you will be guaranteed admission to Marietta College and will work with an advisor at MC to ensure a seamless transfer.

Program Highlights

Courses

While pursuing an associate degree at Washington State in the WSCO2MC program, you can take one course per semester (fall and spring) at Marietta College. These courses will be offered to WSCO2MC students at the WSCO credit hour rate.

Personalized Advising

As part of the program, you will also benefit from one-on-one academic advising to facilitate the transfer process. All students in the program will have an academic plan that maps their coursework at Washington State to their program at Marietta College. To help you stay on track, you will meet several times each semester with advisors from both WSCO and Marietta College.

Campus Resources

All WSCO2MC students will have full access to the facilities at Marietta College (for an additional fee), including computer labs, library, recreation center, and health facilities. To ensure that you have a well-rounded college experience, we encourage you to explore clubs and campus activities on both campuses.

Exclusive Scholarship

Students in the WSCO2MC program who complete an associate degree at Washington State with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and transfer to Marietta College will be awarded a $17,500 per year scholarship (renewable for up to three years).
