Safe and Ethical Care for Incarcerated Patients

A Panel Discussion by the Criminal Justice, Nursing, Radiology, and Respiratory Programs

Our panel will focus on scenarios in which prisoners are accompanied by guards to receive medical treatment and will include input from the criminal justice, social services programs, and several health sciences. We have a distinguished panel of faculty members who will delve into various aspects of patient and provider safety, as well as the ethical challenges that arise in this context. Each panel member has cared for or worked with incarcerated patients and has unique perspectives on aspects of care specific to their discipline.
